As per my observation, there are 4 kinds of people in IT of investment bank.

- The boss
He is the face of the team. Does no apparent work, but takes the credit for the team's success as a leader. Excellent in yapping. All fart no glory.

- The captain
This is the guy who knows everything about everything in terms of technology. Everyone in the team wants to know what he knows. If he leaves, the project is in real trouble.

- The sycophants
These are other yappers who try to please The boss and The captain. They screw up stuff pretty often, but by now the team is used to the mess ups and takes everything in the stride under the name of "team work".

- The BU guy
This is the guy who co-ordinates the requirements with the business. He is used to taking shit from both the worlds - IT and Business. All new joinees want to be him.

That weekend...

The most wonderful weekend ever. At least for some time to come... He came to HK on a saturday this time, with the intention to buy a macbook and spend lovely weekend with his ramboo. I was looking forward to some relaxing time.

The weekend started with home made breakfast. We went to pacific place for lunch. It was raining. But really nice walking hand in hand under one umbrella. I didn't miss Mumbai. And of course, we bought a macbook pro. We were so excited! In the evening, we went to Soho. Had a drink at random bar. Then he spotted the most amazing Beirut restaurant. I feasted on Hummus and Baba Ganoush.

I had planned to visit Discovery Bay on Sunday. But the weather was really very bad. We went to central by ferry with an intent to have lunch. But decided to take a ferry to DBay nevertheless. Discovery Bay was lovely. The kind of neighborhood I would love to live with him. Small houses by the beach, lots of families around, people going everywhere on bicycles, nice little community. We had amazing Italian food with wine. Nice long lunch with rains outside. And then a walk along the beach. And this post is a tribute to that :)

Good things have started happening. I am looking forward to the life ahead with excitement and a big grin on my face.
